Butyrospermum Parkii Butter commonly known as Shea Butter is the fat derived from the fruit(nuts) of the shea tree found in West Africa.

It is high in vitamins A. E, and F and fatty acids. Its consistency makes it easy to spread on the skin. It contains linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids which moisturize the skin. Shea butter does not make the skin oily. It is an anti-inflammatory, an antioxidant, antibacterial, and antifungal.
