Method of Action
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
Occuring naturally in the human body, HA works to support the body's collagen production and to help maintain elasticity and firmness. This natural molecule is specifically found in the hair, skin, eyes, nerves, and joints. As we age the body produces less HA. This formula includes a mix of both High and Low Molecular weight HA, allowing it stay on the surface while also penetrating into the deeper epidermal layers.
Squalane
Human sebum contains 13% squalene as one of its major components. Squalane is a saturated derivative of squalene. Several studies exhibited results that prove certain bioactivities for squalane as a detoxifier, skin hydrater, oil-controller, and skin conditioner.
Rosehip
Provides a rich supply of trans-retinoic acid (retinoids/retinols) and polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic and linolenic acids. These fatty acids can improve the skin’s natural barrier function, which in turn helps to keep the skin moisturized and soft. Rosehip also stimulates collagen production and contributes to gentle exfoliation.
Green Tea
A rich source of antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E. L-theanine found in green tea extract has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. When used topically, it increases blood flow to the skin, improves skin elasticity, hydration, and density.
